The Most Famous Mystery Writers

One of the most famous mystery writers that lives in Tucson is J. A. Jance. Judy has at least fifty-four (54!) mystery novels and one book of poetry. These include 22 J. P. Beaumont novels, 17 Joanna Brady novels about southern Arizona, 11 Ali Reynolds novels and 4 Walker Family Mysteries.

The Others

There is a bookstore in Tucson that caters to mystery lovers and also has a love of dogs. Bosco is the canine and celebrates his birthday on Feb. 13th at Clues Unlimited and their website can be found at this link Clues Unlimited and you can share a love of this genre with the owner, Christine Burke, at one of fewer than 100 mystery bookstores in the U.S. She has about 4500 books in stock and has readings from Anne Hillerman and Craig Johnson (Longmire series).
